“My name is Jinane Mohammad Ayoubi, student, 34 years old, Lebanese from Tripoli, North Province, married with 3 children and studying Arabic Literature at the Lebanese University. Like any student, I was faced with many difficulties as a married woman with children who must be her priority. Another challenge is the harsh economic situation that affects our beloved country Lebanon. But with the help of the HOPES project and the moral and material support provided, I was able to overcome my harsh psychological and financial circumstances. Today, I am preparing for the exams of the sixth semester that I will take in the coming days. The HOPES project stood by my side, supported me and always encouraged me. Also, with its financial help, I had time to follow my studies and I was ranked first at the Lebanese University, Faculty of Literature, during the three past years. My advice to every student is to apply to the HOPES scholarship Fund, because it is respectful, honest and transparent, and above all, punctual at sending the monthly financial assistance. Also, the project team is very competent, they always stood by my side and answered all my requests, and worked hard to help us and solve any issue that we would face. They were also our main psychological support, especially during the strike that hit the university, and used to encourage us to study. I wish HOPES could cover my Master’s studies next year, because I am in desperate need of its support to be able to pursue my academic studies. I would like to thank HOPES for such a successful program, as it helps youth to continue their academic career and stands by their side, and contributes to building the nation. The HOPES program really deserves appreciation and recognition as an academic and humanitarian program of excellence. I would personally like to express my love and appreciation towards you.”
