HOPES awards 59 Master Scholarships to Refugees from Syria and Vulnerable Jordanians at the Petra University in Jordan

HOPES (Higher & Further Education Opportunities and Perspectives for Syrians), funded by the European Union’s Regional Trust Fund in response to the Syrian Crisis, ‘the Madad Fund’ held a ceremony today, November 6, 2017 to award 59 students from Syria and Jordan with scholarships to enroll for Master degrees at several Jordanian universities.  

The ceremony took place in Amman at the Petra University, Faculty of Mass Communication, and was attended by representatives of the European Union Delegation in Amman as well as of several national and international educational institutions.

 The scholarships will help students to better prepare to face the challenges of their future and to contribute to the development of their community, no matter where this community may be.
