Providing access to quality education for Syrian students in Domiz camp 1 schools.

Implementing organisation: Bishkoreen organization for Development of Women and Children

The project intends to train the teaching staff at the schools of the Domiz refugee camp1, more specifically the teachers at grade 12 , because these students will move to the university level next year. Their admission is based on the average mark of all modules. This determines their future. Teachers need to know different styles of teaching and the way students learn, to adjust their ways of teaching to all levels of students.

 

Main activities:

1.coordination with the DOE to identify and allocate trainers for the trainings.

2.preperations for the training course like training agenda and curriculum.

3.conduct one month training fro 10 teachers of the 12th grade of the derek secondary school in Domiz refugee camp1 ( 3 days per week)

  1. observation of ten teachers in real classrooms settings (two observations per teacher) to ensure that the training knowledge is being applied by the teachers.
  2. reporting and evaluation.

 

Duration of the project: 3 months
