JRS Higher Education Project overall goal is to enhance the knowledge, skills and leadership capacity of refugees in Jordan, enabling greater access to tertiary education and the labor market.

The specific objectives are:

  1. To improve the access of refugees and vulnerable host community members in Amman to tertiary education by offering access to online educational opportunities from partner institutions.
  2. To better prepare refugees and vulnerable host community members in Amman for tertiary education by improving their English language abilities, critical thinking, and other relevant skills.
  3. To enhance access to education for refugees and vulnerable host community members in Amman through scholarship opportunities and support of living costs, by providing advice, support in their applications and stipends.

Duration of the project: 8 months
